Taking Care of Your Contact Lenses
Caring for your contact lenses is essential to keep your eyes healthy. Here are our top tips:
- Follow the contact lens instructions carefully.
- Clean fortnightly or monthly lenses daily with the recommended solution.
- Never reuse or ‘top off’ old lens solution, and avoid tap water entirely.
- Always wash your hands before handling lenses.
- Don’t swim, shower, or bathe while wearing lenses.
- Replace your lens case every 2 months and clean it with sterile solution.
- Never sleep in your contact lenses (unless you’re meant to! Ortho-K lenses are the only contacts you should leave in overnight).
- Make sure your eyes feel comfortable, look white, and see clearly.
- Bonus Tip: Recycle your contact lens packaging with us via TerraCycle drop them off in-store!
